Economy Buildings/Resources
Residence: The Residence is a hut-like building that produces gold. The more you upgrade your residence, it can produce more gold as well as hold more gold.
Sawmill: The sawmill produces wood. You only get 1 sawmill from HQ level 1- HQ level 20. When you upgrade the sawmill, you will produce more wood and can hold more wood.
Quarry: Unlocked at HQ level 7, the Quarry produces stone. Stone can be used to upgrade buildings. You only get 1 Quarry from HQ level 1- HQ level 20.
Iron Mine: Unlocked a HQ level 10, the Iron mine produces iron which is used to upgrade buildings. You only get 1 iron mine from HQ level 1- HQ level 20.
Gold: Gold is produced by the Residence and after winning a Blackguard Island, you will receive a resource boat that will give you X gold per hour per island for every rescued island. (EX: If you have 100 rescued islands, you will receive 100 gold per hour per 100 islands=10,000 gold after 1 hour.) Gold is used to make troops, research troops, and explore the radar.
Wood: Wood is the most basic resource used to build/upgrade. It can be obtained by your Sawmill, conquering islands, Resource, cutting trees, and exchanging Diamonds for it. It is used for every type of building.
Stone: Stone is a further developed resource in the game. It can be obtained by a Quarry, conquering islands, Resource Base, and exchanging Diamonds for it. Stone is generally used for major visual changes on buildings as it is a stronger and further refined resource.
Iron: Iron is the most advanced resource in the game. It can be obtained by a Iron Mine, conquering islands, Resource Base, and exchanging Diamonds for it. Iron is used for huge visual improvements on buildings because it is the strongest and most refined resource available within the game of Boom Beach.
Diamonds: Diamonds are an in game currency. They can be obtained when first downloading the game, completing achievements, defending your base, randomly showing up in chests on your map, or you can purchase them through iTunes with real world money. They are considered the most valuable of all currencies because you can buy anything with them on top of being able to buy Gold, Wood, Stone, and Iron with them.You can also instantly finish an upgrade with them, without spending any resources.
