1. How does Death work?
Death to Players
First situation is that if you die another player whilst skulled results in a loss of your 10 most valuable item stacks (in your inventory and bank), all items on your possession, and a chunk of XP from unprotected stats.
Second situation is that if you die another player whilst unskulled results in a loss of your 10 most valuable item stacks (in your inventory and bank), all items on your possession, and a smaller chunk of XP from unprotected stats.
In both situations above, you will lost the XP when dying to another player, which depends on the combat level of the player killing you. The higher their combat, the lower the amount of XP you lose.
Death to Monsters
When dying to a monster whilst skulled, you will lost of your 10 most valuable item stacks (in your inventory and bank), all items on your possession, and half of your XP from unprotected stats.
When dying to a monster when unskulled, you will act as a normal death: the loss of all items on your person bar the 3 most valuable.
Death Within Guarded Zones
If you die whilst skulled within a guarded zone, you will lose an additional 10% XP in protected skulls including existing item & XP loss.
If you die whilst unskulled within a guarded zone, you will not lose any additional XP in protected skills.
2. Can I protect my XP or items?
The NPC Gelin will continue to insure your HP level. 5 skills can be protected: 2 combat and 3 non-combat skills; access the death interface within the equipment tab to protect your skills. You can protect up to 10 items by placing them within your safety deposit box.
3. How does questing work?
All quests are automatically completed. No experience or item rewards are given from these automatically completed quests.
